Here I am driving up to the opening of the Turner Classic Movies Film Festival in my classy Buick LaCrosse. I am currently four films down, more than a dozen to go, and having a BLAST. And driving to Hollywood in such luxury only adds to the fantasy—this morning L.A. was a "frigid" 54 degrees so I pressed a few buttons and both my steering wheel and seat heated up. I could get used to this! Enjoy my video debut...if you dare. Just remember that old adage about the camera adding 40 lbs. (what? it’s not 40?). It also apparently alters your voice—I really sound much more like James Earl Jones.
This is AWESOME Danny! And yes, you were ready for your close-up! You're a natural at this. You should have your own show on TCM. I'm already a huge fan ;-)
Thanks for taking us along on your fun weekend. Fourteen more films to go? Keep the Visine handy!

Danny,
I think you'd make a great interviewer on the red carpet or behind a desk, especially when it comes to anything film related.
Wonderful video! You make me want to be there with you. :-) Has Charlie been in the Buick yet?

Charlie LOVES the Buick and as soon as the film festival ends I'm going to take him around town in it and play some of his favorite tunes on the amazing sound system. It's such an incredibly smooth ride that he tends to fall asleep within minutes—can I keep the LaCrosse as a high-tech crib? Pix to come of Charlie in his automotive glory...

Danny, I know you will have so many more wonderful details to note about that beautiful car - so perfect for you and your family - I certainly hope you get to spend even more time behind the wheel!

The camera absolutely adds pounds. But you sound like Danny, not James Earl Jones. You ARE a natural on camera.

Danny, Kendall might have told you this: While we were driving down Hollywood Blvd. on Friday, on our way to lunch at Fred 62, John was taking pictures of the crowds. When we were at your house later with Kendall and cutie-pie Charlie, John was looking through his photos and discovered that you were right in the middle of one!
I'm enjoying your experience vicariously.
